HOM Meditation ( Body Scan Meditation )
Welcome to the science of feeling grounded in our body. The purpose of this guided meditation is to bring you back into congruence with your body. It guides you through a body scan practice. You’ll start at your feet and allow energy to flow through your head. Once your mind, body, and spirit are brought into complete oneness, you’ll ease into the comfort of your own body.
Before you begin the meditation, allow yourself to be aware of your body without judgment. Use the intention of loving-kindness.
If a part of your body needs care, place your hand on it and send the energy of loving kindness there prior to the meditation. If it is your hands, observe your hands with your eyes without moving your gaze elsewhere. Hold, hug, or touch the place of your body that deserves care.
Begin the meditation, and do not allow yourself to become distracted. The meditation is twenty minutes in total. I recommend lying down as you will feel the energy flow through your body. It’s important that you do this in an undisturbed space where you can honor the practice of coming back to your body.
